Black Frame Glasses

During my high school years, I was still a young boy. Many my mom neighbors used to say I was a handsome and gentle kid.

One day at my private school, I noticed a girl around the same age as me — we were in the same grade but studied in different classes.

A few days later, I saw her again, and something about her caught my attention. It wasn’t anything flashy — just a pair of simple black-frame glasses. Everything else about her seemed ordinary, yet those glasses made her stand out to me.

… There’s a long story here, maybe one day I’ll tell it all.

But I looked at her differently than I had ever looked at anyone else. I was curious — something about those black-frame glasses stirred something in me. I found myself wondering, “Why does a girl wearing black-frame glasses look so different to me?” I didn’t know the answer then — I just started to feel something new.

From that moment on, black-frame glasses changed my perspective forever. I’ve always been drawn to people who wear glasses — blue, green, any color — but black frames are still something special.

Even now, I catch myself looking twice at anyone wearing black-frame glasses… haha.
